Amino acids are the basic substances that constitute protein required for animal nutrition. To prepare amino acids in a biological fermentation tank,
it is necessary to control the oxygen concentration and pH value during the fermentation process. Usually two mass flow controllers are used,
one controls the mass flow of oxygen (or air) used to adjust the oxygen concentration, and the other controls the flow of carbon dioxide,
thereby adjusting the pH value in the biological fermentation tank.

Yeasts can grow in both aerobic and anaerobic environments. In the case of oxygen, sugar is broken down into carbon dioxide and
water and the yeast grows faster. In the case of hypoxia, sugar is broken down into alcohol and carbon dioxide. The key to the
preparation of yeast lies in precise control and adjustment of the pH value in the biological fermentor. The most ideal pH value
range for yeast growth is 4.5-5.0. The gas flow meter used in the yeast fermentation tank must stably control the flow of carbon dioxide,
and needs to be adjusted precisely and minutely according to the constantly changing pH value in the fermentation tank.
